In short

F1 Agent customers are field sales and field service organizations that run Salesforce and need visibility into work done outside the office.

Sales teams typically measure outlet coverage, travel per visit, orders per visit and expense accuracy. Service teams measure first time fix, repeat visits, SLA compliance and time to invoice.

Each story below names the modules used and the metric that moved. Client names are withheld at their request and shown as placeholders.

[FMCG client]Packaged foods · 2,400 field reps · 38,000 outlets

Their reps logged visits in a separate app, sent orders over chat, and filed expenses in spreadsheets. Managers saw attendance, but not outcomes. Beats were the same lists every week, built by proximity rather than potential.

They rolled out F1 Agent in one zone first. AI recommendations reshaped beats around order potential, route optimization sequenced each day, and every visit carried tasks: take an order, run a shelf audit, log competitor activity. Six months later the rest of the country followed.

Activity metrics look good on slides. Outcome metrics change the business.

A rep with ten visits is not automatically better than one with six. When you compare results across stories, check which column the metric comes from.

Service spotlight · Equipment and Machinery

How one service team took repeat visits down by a third in 120 days.

[Industrial equipment client] services compressors and pumps across nine territories. Their biggest cost was not labour. It was the second trip, when a technician arrived without the part.

"Work types did more than we expected. Once a job type knew its parts, the van stock check happened before the technician left, not at the customer's door."
[Client name], Service Operations Manager, [Industrial equipment client]
  1. Day 0

Baseline: 1 in 4 jobs needed a second visit

Parts were tracked in a warehouse spreadsheet. Nobody knew what was in each van.

  2. Day 21

Work types configured with skills and parts

Top 30 job types got required skills, expected duration and parts lists.

  3. Day 45

Van stock went live as an inventory location

Product requests and transfers moved parts from warehouse to van before each job.

  4. Day 70

AI dispatch switched on in two territories

Dispatchers accepted AI recommendations that matched skill, territory and open slots.

  5. Day 120

32% fewer repeat visits, invoices from parts consumed

Checkout captured actual parts with reasons for unused ones, and invoices followed the same day.

What the fastest rollouts had in common.

01

They started with one team or territory

A pilot zone set the baseline, proved the numbers and gave the rest of the company a reference team to call.

02

They configured policy, not workarounds

Expense tiers, travel modes, visit forms and work types matched the real rulebook, so nobody kept a side spreadsheet.

03

They picked one outcome metric

Visits with an order, or repeat visits avoided. One number on the dashboard kept managers and reps aligned.

04

They let AI recommend before it acts

Beat and dispatch recommendations came first. Auto dispatch followed once teams trusted the matches.

About these stories

How we report results, and how to speak to a customer directly.

Why are client names shown as placeholders?

Many of our customers prefer not to be named publicly. We describe their industry, team size and modules used, and can arrange a reference call where a customer agrees.

How are the results measured?

Each figure compares the customer's baseline with the same metric after rollout, using data from F1 Agent reports and dashboards on their Salesforce org.

Can I speak to a customer in my industry?

Yes, where a matching customer is willing. Tell us your industry and team size and we will try to connect you with a similar team.

Do these teams use both field sales and field service?

Some do. Most stories focus on the module that drove the result. FMCG and distribution teams usually start with field sales; equipment, appliance and medical teams with field service.

How long before results show up?

It depends on team size and how much configuration is needed. Visibility metrics like attendance and visit completion appear as soon as reps start using the app; outcome metrics need a few cycles of data.

Can I share my own story?

Yes. If your team runs on F1 Agent and you would like to be featured, named or anonymous, contact your account manager or write to us through Contact Support.
