AI dispatch for field service
Stop phoning around for a free technician. Let AI find the right one.
F1 Agent weighs the skills each job needs, the technician's skills, the service territory, operating hours, open time slots and priority, then recommends the best match. Your dispatcher decides, or auto-dispatch assigns it for you.

In short
F1 Agent AI Dispatch is a Salesforce-native dispatching module for field service teams. It gives dispatchers a console of service appointments and technicians, and uses AI to recommend the best technician for each appointment based on required skills, work type, technician skills, service territory, availability, open time slots and job priority.
Organisations choose their level of automation: AI recommends and the dispatcher decides, or AI auto-dispatches appointments according to configured logic. Service territories, operating hours and technician time slots are managed in the same module.
A dispatcher's morning
Dispatch is a puzzle with six moving pieces. Most teams solve it with a phone.
At 9 AM there are forty open appointments and twelve technicians. For each job the dispatcher must hold six things in their head at once. Get one wrong and the cost shows up at 3 PM, on the customer's doorstep.
Wrong skill
The technician can't do the job.
A general technician is sent to a job that needs a certified engineer. The visit becomes an inspection and a second visit is booked.
Right skill, wrong time
The best technician is already booked.
Skill matching alone is not enough. The person with the skill is across the city until evening, and the P1 job waits.
Wrong territory
Two hours of driving for a one-hour fix.
Jobs are assigned across territories, travel eats the day, and fewer jobs get done per technician.
Priority ignored
Routine jobs crowd out urgent ones.
First come, first served looks fair, until a contract SLA is breached because a filter change got the morning slot.
What good dispatch actually checks
Capability and availability. Never one without the other.
A good assignment passes six checks in order. Most manual and rules-only systems stop after the first one or two. Here is how F1 Agent narrows twelve technicians down to one recommendation for a single job.
Required skill
Who holds the HVAC L2 skill the work type demands?
Service territory
Of those, who operates in Gurugram South?
Operating hours
Can the 2-hour job finish inside the territory’s hours today?
Open time slot
Who has a free slot of at least 2 hours?
Priority
Does this P1 job outrank what is already in that slot?
Best match
Rank the remaining candidates and recommend one, with reasons.
Example for one P1 HVAC appointment in a twelve-technician region.
How many of these six checks does your team do today?
Share last week's appointments and technician roster. We will show you how AI would have assigned them, and where it differs from what actually happened.
Choose your level of automation
AI recommends, or AI assigns. You decide where the line is.
Dispatch processes differ a lot between organisations. F1 Agent does not force one model. Many teams start with recommendations, then move routine work types to auto-dispatch once they trust the results.
Mode 1
AI recommends, dispatcher decides
For each appointment, the console shows the recommended technician and the reasons: skill match, territory, free slot and priority. The dispatcher accepts in one click or picks someone else.
Mode 2
AI auto-dispatch
Appointments are assigned automatically according to your configured logic. The dispatcher works on exceptions only: jobs nobody fits, escalations and same-day changes.
How F1 Agent dispatch works
Every input the AI uses is something your team already defines.

Time slots

Dispatcher console
One view of unassigned appointments and each technician's day. Why it matters: dispatchers stop switching between a ticket list, a calendar and a phone. Outcome: faster assignment with fewer mistakes.
Service territories and operating hours
Technicians belong to territories, and each territory can run its own schedule. Why it matters: a job is only offered to people who work in that area at that time. Outcome: less cross-city travel, more jobs per day.
Technician time slots
Availability is managed at the daily, time-slot level. Why it matters: the right skill is useless if the person is busy. Outcome: assignments that can actually happen when promised.
Use cases
Three dispatch teams, three different settings.
A small team servicing heavy machinery
Problem: Three dispatchers, forty engineers with very different certifications; wrong assignments meant wasted site visits.
With F1 Agent: Skills on every work type and technician; AI shortlists only qualified engineers in the right territory and the dispatcher confirms.
Fewer wasted visits and faster assignment, with experts still deciding.
Hundreds of home repairs a day
Problem: Dispatchers could not keep up with web requests in summer; customers waited a day for a call back.
With F1 Agent: Routine work types such as AC gas top-up and RO service are auto-dispatched by pin-code territory and free slot.
Appointments assigned as they are created; dispatchers handle only exceptions.
Certified engineers, tight SLAs
Problem: Critical equipment must be handled only by certified engineers, within contract response times.
With F1 Agent: P1 jobs on critical devices go to recommendation mode; scheduled calibrations auto-dispatch to certified engineers.
Urgent work gets human judgement, routine work runs itself.
Why F1 Agent
Dispatch approaches, and their trade-offs.
Trust is earned, so start with recommendations
Your dispatcher stays in charge until you say otherwise.
Run AI in recommendation mode on one territory. Track how often the dispatcher accepts the suggestion. When acceptance is consistently high for a work type, switch that work type to auto-dispatch. It runs on your existing Salesforce org, configured to your skills and territories.

"My dispatchers used to spend the first two hours of every day on the phone. Now they review the AI's suggestions, handle the exceptions, and the routine jobs assign themselves."
FAQ
Questions about AI dispatch.
What does F1 Agent AI Dispatch consider when recommending a technician?
It considers the skills required by the work order and work type, the skills each technician holds, the territory of the job, the technicians who operate in that territory, technician availability and empty time slots, job priority and other relevant scheduling information.
What is the difference between AI recommendation and auto-dispatch?
In recommendation mode, AI suggests the best technician and the dispatcher makes the final decision. In auto-dispatch mode, F1 Agent assigns service appointments automatically according to your configured logic.
Can we use auto-dispatch for some jobs and recommendations for others?
F1 Agent lets you choose the level of automation that fits your operation. Many teams keep complex or critical jobs with the dispatcher and automate high-volume routine work.
Can the dispatcher override the AI?
Yes. In recommendation mode the dispatcher always decides, and can choose a different technician from the console.
How are service territories and operating hours handled?
Technicians are associated with service territories, and each territory can have its own operating hours, for example Monday to Saturday with specific hours. Jobs are matched against those schedules.
Why is skill matching alone not enough?
A technician may have the right skill but already be occupied at the required time. F1 Agent checks both capability and availability at the time-slot level before recommending anyone.
Where do the skills come from?
Required skills are defined on work types, which are selected when the work order is created. Technician skills are maintained on each resource by your administrators.
What happens after a technician is assigned?
The service appointment appears in the technician’s F1 Agent mobile app with the work order, so they can prepare, check parts and travel to the customer.
Does AI Dispatch work outside Salesforce?
No. F1 Agent is built natively on Salesforce, so dispatch runs on your existing service appointments, work orders and resources in your org.
How should we roll out AI dispatch?
Start in recommendation mode on one territory, measure how often dispatchers accept the suggestion, then move work types with consistently high acceptance to auto-dispatch.
