In short
F1 Agent for appliances and electronics is a Salesforce native field service platform for brands, service partners and retailers that repair consumer appliances and electronics at customers' homes and businesses.
Service requests become Cases matched to the customer and their registered product. Work Types set the skill, time and expected spare parts, and AI dispatch recommends or auto assigns a technician by skill, territory, time slot and priority.
Technicians see expected parts before travelling, record actual consumption at check out, and update the product's service history. Managers track SLA performance and technician productivity. F1 Agent is built by Cloud Ingenious, a Salesforce Summit Partner.
The field reality of consumer service
A refrigerator that stops on Friday is a family's whole weekend.
Consumer service runs on volume and patience. Hundreds of complaints arrive every day, each customer waits at home for a slot, and a single "technician came without the part" turns into a one star review. The math is unforgiving: small inefficiencies multiplied by thousands of jobs.
Where the SLA clock leaks
−4 h
Wrong product logged
Customer says "fridge", system has three. The wrong model’s history and parts get pulled.
−6 h
Assignment by phone
Dispatcher calls technicians one by one to find someone free in that pin code.
−3 h
Skill mismatch
A general technician is sent to an inverter PCB fault and has to escalate.
−24 h
Spare not in the bag
Diagnosis on site, part ordered, second visit booked for tomorrow.
−2 h
Closure by phone
Job closed on a call, parts used never recorded, SLA timestamp approximate.
Illustrative hours lost against a 48 hour resolution SLA.
1 in 5
consumer service visits in a typical manual operation end without a fix, usually because the spare was not in the technician's bag.
The parts nobody can account for
Compressors, PCBs, motors and panels move between warehouses, service centres and technicians' bags. Without planned versus actual consumption, warranty claims to the brand and out of warranty billing to the customer both leak.
What high volume service teams get wrong
More technicians will not fix an SLA problem that starts at the call centre.
When SLA slips, the instinct is to add technicians. But most lost hours happen before anyone travels: the wrong product logged, a vague fault description, a technician picked because he answered the phone, a spare that was never checked. Fix the upstream steps and the same team closes more jobs, because fewer of them need a second visit.
01
Identify the exact product first
Match the customer by phone or email, then pick the specific registered appliance. History and parts follow from the right asset.
Ask your vendor: Does a case link to a specific asset, or only to a customer?
02
Standardize the job, not just the ticket
A Work Type per complaint type defines skill, expected duration and spares, so every coordinator plans the same way.
Ask your vendor: Can selecting a job type fill skills, duration and parts automatically?
03
Match skill and slot together
The right skill in the wrong slot still breaches SLA. Dispatch must weigh both, plus territory and priority.
Ask your vendor: Does dispatch consider availability and territory, or only skill?
04
Record what really happened
Planned versus actual parts, with reasons, is what keeps inventory, warranty claims and billing honest.
Ask your vendor: Can technicians add unplanned parts and explain unused ones?

AI dispatch and auto dispatch
At consumer volumes, a human cannot hand pick every technician. They should not have to.
AI looks at the Work Type's required skill, which technicians have it, which service territory the customer's pin code falls in, who has an empty slot and how urgent the job is. For routine jobs, turn on auto dispatch and let AI assign. For escalations and premium customers, keep AI recommends, dispatcher decides.
Service territories carry their own operating hours, so a city centre running Monday to Sunday and a district service centre running Monday to Saturday are scheduled correctly.
Outcome: dispatchers handle exceptions, not every job.
Mar 2026: door gasket replaced. No cooling issues recorded.
Expected parts and service inventory
The technician knows what to carry before he rings the bell.
Because the Work Type lists expected parts, the technician's app checks them against his van or bag stock. A missing part triggers a Product Request to the nearest linked warehouse or service centre, and a Product Transfer gets it to him before the slot.
Inventory can be counted in pieces, sets or cartons, and every movement between service centre, technician and customer location is a Product Transaction with a trail.
Outcome: fewer "part pending" jobs and fewer second visits.
At check out the technician confirms the parts actually used. Planned parts not used need a reason, extra parts can be added, and Products Consumed update stock and the product's service history. For out of warranty jobs, an invoice is raised from what was consumed and shared with the customer.
Managers then see each technician's assigned and resolved jobs, resolution times and SLA compliance by Work Type and territory.
Built for the way consumer service actually peaks.
Summer peak
AC complaints triple in April
Situation
Cooling complaints spike for eight weeks, and dispatchers cannot assign jobs fast enough. SLA breaches pile up by the second week.
With F1 Agent
Routine AC Work Types move to AI auto dispatch by skill, territory and slot. Dispatchers handle only escalations, and expected parts per Work Type keep gas kits and capacitors stocked in technicians’ bags.
Outcome
Peak volume is absorbed without hiring a second dispatch team, and SLA holds through the season.
Repeat visits
Too many jobs end with "part pending"
Situation
A brand’s service partner closes only four of five jobs on the first visit. The fifth needs a spare from the service centre and a second trip.
With F1 Agent
Technicians review expected parts the evening before, raise Product Requests for missing items, and receive transfers before the slot. Check out records actual consumption with reasons.
Outcome
Fewer second visits, and data showing which Work Types still miss spares.
Warranty and billing
Spares consumed but not claimed or billed
Situation
Parts replaced under warranty are not consistently claimed back, and out of warranty parts are sometimes not billed at all.
With F1 Agent
Products Consumed link each part to the job, technician and appliance. Out of warranty jobs flow into an invoice shared with the customer from Salesforce.
Outcome
Every replaced part is accounted for, against the right product and the right customer.

Appliance and electronics brands
Run national service networks across owned centres and partners. Territory based dispatch, SLA tracking by Work Type and product level service history in Salesforce give one view across the country.

What is F1 Agent for appliances and electronics service?
F1 Agent is a Salesforce native field service platform for brands, service partners and retailers that repair appliances and electronics on site. It covers case intake, customer and product identification, service history, Work Orders with Work Types, AI dispatch and auto dispatch, service inventory, a technician app with check in and check out, products consumed, invoicing, SLA compliance and technician productivity.
Can AI assign technicians automatically?
Yes. AI dispatch can recommend a technician for the dispatcher to confirm, or auto dispatch according to your configured logic. It considers required skill, technician skills, service territory, availability, open time slots and job priority. You can choose the level of automation for your operation.
How does the technician know which spare parts to carry?
Each Work Type can define the products normally required. The technician sees these expected parts on the Work Order before travelling, and F1 Agent can compare them against van or bag stock. Missing items can be requested from a linked warehouse or service centre.
How is SLA measured?
Service requests can carry defined SLAs, for example resolution within a set number of hours. F1 Agent measures execution against those commitments, so managers can see compliance by technician, territory and job type.
Can we see the service history of a specific appliance?
Yes. Each customer’s products can be maintained as assets with their service history: previous issues, work performed and parts used. Agents see it before creating a new Work Order, and technicians see it in the app.
What if a technician uses a part that was not planned?
At check out the technician confirms actual usage, adds any additional parts used, and gives a reason for planned parts that were not used. Products Consumed then update inventory and the asset history.
Can customers raise requests from our website?
Yes. A website request can enter Salesforce as a Case, and the customer is identified by phone number and email to start the service workflow.
Does F1 Agent handle periodic servicing as well as repairs?
Yes. Maintenance Plans generate recurring Work Orders and Service Appointments, for example AC servicing or filter replacement, alongside reactive breakdown jobs.
Can service partner technicians use F1 Agent?
Yes, if they are set up as users in your Salesforce org. Skills, service territories and inventory locations can be configured per technician or partner.
How do we start and what does it cost?
Most teams pilot one city and one product category, configure their top Work Types and run AI recommendations before enabling auto dispatch. Pricing is per user per month at [₹ per user / month], depending on modules.
Send a week of service jobs from one city. We will show where time is lost between complaint and fix, and run your top Work Types through AI dispatch on F1 Agent in Salesforce.
