Nearby Prospecting
Your next customer is two streets away. Your CRM just doesn't know yet.
Search around any location for existing customers and for businesses that are not yet in Salesforce. Turn them into leads in one tap, scan visiting cards into any object, and visit on the spot. Field time becomes pipeline.

In short
F1 Agent Nearby Prospecting is a Salesforce-native capability that lets field reps find existing customers and new businesses around their current or any selected location. It uses Google business information to surface businesses that are not yet in the organisation's Salesforce data, which reps can evaluate and create as leads.
Reps can also scan visiting cards to create records in any configured Salesforce object, not only Contacts. Field actions such as navigation and check-in are available on the standard Lightning record page. The result is a workflow from nearby business to lead, visit and follow-up, all inside Salesforce.
The real problem
Reps drive past dozens of potential customers every day. None of them become leads.
Field sales teams are physically in the market more than anyone else in the company. Yet new business usually comes from desk research, purchased lists or chance. The field's best asset, being there, is wasted.
Free time with no plan. A meeting ends early and the rep heads to the next one, or home.
Visiting cards in a pocket. Collected at a dealer meet, typed in next month, if at all.
New outlets recorded. A new shop opened on the beat three weeks ago. Salesforce has no idea.
Since the last visit to an existing customer 400 metres from where the rep is standing.
What most teams misunderstand
Customer mapping shows what you have. Prospecting shows what you're missing.
Plotting your accounts on a map is useful, but it only shows businesses you already know. The bigger opportunity is the gap between every business in a territory and the ones in your CRM. That gap is your white space.
Customer mapping
You see your 9 customers. The 21 grey dots are invisible to the rep and the manager.
Nearby prospecting
9 customers, plus 21 businesses not in Salesforce. 5 already created as leads (filled squares).
Prospect where reps already are
The cheapest lead to qualify is the one a rep can walk into today. Location-led prospecting has almost no travel cost.
Capture at the moment of contact
Leads typed in later are leads lost. Creating the record while standing at the counter is the only reliable habit.
Put new leads into the same workflow
A new lead should be visitable, navigable and followed up like any customer, not parked in a separate list.
How much white space is in your territory?
Pick one territory. We will compare your Salesforce accounts with nearby business data and show you how many relevant businesses you are not yet covering.
How it works
From a dot on the map to a visit on the record.
Find nearby
Around the rep or any selected location.
Spot new business
Google business data flags who is not in Salesforce.
Create lead
One tap, with name, address and location filled.
Navigate
Route and travel time in maps.
Unplanned visit
Check in, notes, photos, tasks.
Follow up
Into a beat, a schedule or the pipeline.
Nearby search for existing customers
What: customers already in Salesforce near the rep, or near any location they choose. Why: a meeting finishes early and the hour becomes a visit, not a commute.
New prospect discovery
What: businesses from Google business information that do not exist in your Salesforce data. Why: location intelligence turns into pipeline, not just a map.
Ask Lumina to build the beat
What: "Find customers near me and build a beat." Why: Lumina turns nearby results into a scheduled, sequenced plan in one step.
Visiting card scanning
Scan a card. Create the right record. Not just a Contact.
Point the camera at a business card and the fields fill themselves. The admin decides which Salesforce object the card creates: a Lead at a trade fair, a Contact on an existing account, or a custom object like a Dealer Enquiry or Site Contact.
No more stacks of cards in a drawer waiting for someone to type them in.

Lightning record page
Field actions, right on the Salesforce record.
F1 Agent workflows can be exposed on the standard Lightning record page. Users navigate to the customer, check into a meeting or access field workflows from the Salesforce context, without switching to a separate application.
Use cases
Three moments that used to be lost.
The early finish
45 free minutes become two visits
A meeting ends early in Karol Bagh. Nearby search shows an existing customer not visited in a month and a new store not in Salesforce. The rep visits both. One lead created, one order taken.
The dealer meet
40 cards, 40 records, same day
At a regional dealer meet, reps scan every visiting card into a custom Dealer Enquiry object. By evening, the channel team has a qualified list with owners assigned.
The new market
Mapping a town before the first beat
Expanding into a new tier 2 town, a sales manager searches around the market area, creates leads for relevant businesses and builds the first beat from them with Lumina.
Industries
Who gains most from prospecting in the field.
FMCG and consumer goods
New outlets open constantly. Discovering stores not yet in Salesforce directly lifts numeric distribution, and they can join the beat the same week. FMCG ›
Distribution
Finding new dealers and sub-distributors in existing territories, and capturing enquiries from trade events with card scanning. Distribution ›
Equipment, building materials and durables
Workshops, contractors and retailers clustered in industrial areas and markets. Nearby discovery reveals the ones your team has never called on.

FAQ
Prospecting questions, answered.
What is nearby search in F1 Agent?
It lets a rep find customers near their current location, or near any other selected location, so free time can be used for productive visits.
How does F1 Agent find businesses that are not in Salesforce?
It uses Google business information to identify businesses that exist in the area but are not yet present in your organisation's Salesforce data. Reps see them on the map and can evaluate them as prospects.
Can reps create leads directly from the map?
Yes. A discovered business can be created as a Salesforce lead, after which the rep can navigate there, conduct an unplanned visit and capture the activity.
Which Salesforce objects can visiting card scanning create?
It is not restricted to Contacts. The backend can be configured so that card information creates a standard object such as a Lead or Contact, or a custom object, depending on your use case.
Does card scanning fill fields automatically?
Yes. The system captures the relevant information from the card and fills the corresponding fields, then the record can be created.
Can these actions be used from Salesforce on desktop?
F1 Agent workflows can be exposed on the standard Lightning record page, so users can navigate to a location, check into a meeting or access field workflows from the Salesforce context.
Can Lumina help with prospecting?
Yes. Reps can ask Lumina to find customers nearby and build a beat from them, turning a search into a scheduled plan in one step.
Do new leads follow our existing lead process?
Leads are created as Salesforce records in your org, so your existing assignment rules, processes and reports apply to them.
