Orders and Returns
Book the order before you leave the counter.
Orders, returns, competitor notes and shelf audits captured inside the visit, with the customer's order history and outstanding amount on screen. Every rupee the field generates lands on the Salesforce account the moment the rep checks out.

In short
F1 Agent Orders and Returns lets field sales reps capture sales orders and return orders as tasks inside a customer visit, directly in Salesforce. It is built for FMCG, distribution, retail-oriented and similar businesses where revenue is generated at the outlet or dealer counter.
The same visit can include structured competitor analysis and an AI shelf audit that detects missing SKUs and planogram deviations. Before ordering, Lumina can show the rep previous orders, outstanding amounts and products worth pitching, so every order is placed with full account context.
The real problem
The order was taken at 11. It reached the system at 7. Half of it was wrong.
In many field teams, the visit and the order live in different worlds. The rep writes it on paper or WhatsApps a photo, someone at the distributor types it in, and the CRM never learns which visit produced which revenue.
Revenue with no source
Without order capture in the visit, you cannot tell which visits sell and which are social calls.
Returns that vanish
Damaged, unsold and expired stock comes back informally and never matches the books.
Selling blind on credit
Reps push new orders to dealers who already owe money, because nobody told them.
Market intelligence in WhatsApp
Competitor schemes and new launches are seen daily and reported never.
What good looks like
An order app takes orders. A visit captures the account.
Standalone order-taking apps solve data entry, but they still treat the order as an isolated event. The real value comes when the order, the return, the shelf and the competitor are recorded together, against the visit, on the account.
| Order-only approach | Visit-centred approach | |
|---|---|---|
| Before the order | Rep opens a catalogue | Rep sees last orders, outstanding amount and products to pitch |
| During the visit | Order lines only | Order, return, competitor check, shelf audit, custom form |
| Linked to | A customer code | The visit, the rep, the beat, the territory and the account |
| Manager can answer | How much was ordered? | Which visits sell, which outlets are slipping, where competitors are gaining |
Put context before the catalogue
Knowing the outstanding amount and last order changes what a good rep asks for. Show it at check-in, not in a report.
Treat returns as first-class
Returns are a retailer trust issue. Capturing them in the same visit as the order prevents disputes later.
Structure what reps see
Competitor presence and shelf gaps are only useful if they are captured the same way by every rep, every time.
Map your order-to-delivery leaks
Walk us through how one order travels today, from counter to invoice. We will show where it can be captured once, in the visit, on Salesforce.
How it works
One visit, four kinds of value captured.
Before
Check in
Lumina briefs: past meetings, orders, outstanding amount, products to pitch.
Sales order
Products and quantities in your units, connected to the visit and account.
Return order
Damaged goods, unsold or expired stock, recorded in the same visit.
Competitor analysis
Presence, products, positioning and other configured observations, structured.
AI shelf audit
Photo of the shelf analysed for missing SKUs, visibility and planogram issues.
After
Check out
Notes, disposition, photos. Everything lands on the Salesforce account.
Outstanding amounts, in the room
What it is. Lumina's AI sales coach brings together previous meetings, order history, outstanding amount and what was left unresolved, then recommends products to pitch.
Why it matters. A rep who knows a dealer owes ₹14,200 can collect first, sell second, and avoid adding risk to the book. Distribution teams especially rely on this context.

Returns without the argument
Record damaged, unsold or expired stock as a return order during the visit. It sits next to the sales order on the account, so credit notes and replacements are traceable to the day and the rep.
Competitor intelligence, structured
Configure the observations that matter: competitor present, products stocked, schemes running, shelf share. Reps answer the same questions each time, so you can compare markets instead of reading anecdotes.
AI shelf audit, one photo
The rep photographs the shelf. AI checks it against your trained model for missing SKUs, poor visibility and planogram deviations, then recommends what to fix. AI Shelf Audit ›
Use cases
Three counters, three outcomes.
Kirana outlet, FMCG beat
A rep checks in, sees that the outlet stopped buying a fast-moving SKU, places the regular order plus the suggested item, records two damaged cartons as a return and runs a shelf audit that flags a missing SKU. Order value rises and the return never becomes a dispute.
Dealer with overdue payments
Lumina shows a large outstanding amount before the meeting. The rep leads with collection, takes a smaller order and logs the conversation. Finance sees the context, not just a lower number.
A competitor scheme spreading
Twenty reps record the same competitor discount in one week through the structured competitor form. Brand managers see it by territory on Friday instead of hearing about it next quarter.
Industries
Where order capture in the visit pays most.
FMCG and consumer goods
High order frequency, many SKUs, small tickets. Speed of capture, suggested items and shelf audits drive numeric distribution and lines per call. FMCG ›
Distribution
Larger orders with credit risk. Outstanding amount context and clean return orders protect margins and dealer relationships. Distribution ›
Retail-oriented manufacturers
Products sold through stores and dealers, with merchandising standards. Competitor analysis and planogram checks matter as much as the order itself.

FAQ
Orders and returns, answered.
How do reps take orders in F1 Agent?
Order-taking is a visit task. After checking in at a customer, the rep opens the order task in the mobile app, adds products and quantities and submits. The order is linked to the visit and the account in Salesforce.
Can reps record return orders?
Yes. The same visit workflow supports return orders for damaged goods, unsold inventory, expired stock and other return scenarios.
Will reps see outstanding payments before ordering?
Lumina's AI sales coach can summarise previous meetings, order history and outstanding amounts for the customer, and recommend products to pitch, before or during the visit, using the data available in your Salesforce org.
What is competitor analysis in a visit?
A configurable visit task where reps record competitor presence, products, positioning or other observations you define. The information becomes structured Salesforce data instead of informal notes.
How does the AI shelf audit work?
The rep captures a photo of the shelf. AI analyses it based on the configured or trained model to identify missing SKUs, poor visibility, arrangement problems and planogram deviations, and recommends corrections.
Does it support cartons and other units?
F1 Agent supports configurable units of measure such as pieces, cartons and bags. We will configure the units that match your catalogue during setup.
Where do the orders go after submission?
Orders are stored in your Salesforce org against the account and visit, so they appear in your reports and dashboards and can feed whatever downstream processes your org already runs.
Can we require an order on certain visits?
Visit tasks define what should happen during a visit. You decide which tasks, such as order, return, competitor analysis or shelf audit, apply to which visits.
